BGMEA new eligible team to promulgate the business by ensuring a long term initiatives for achieving SDG- Akbor Haider Munna, Deputy Managing Director of Youth Group

11111Bangladesh textile garments industry has been suffering a lot during this pandemic situation. It has largely affected order decrease due to COVID-19 outbreak. Last year the industry survived with some good initiatives and government support. As the country is largely affected by the second wave of COVID now it’s really a very hard time for this industry. Recently the BGMEA election has been completed and a new BGMEA committee with the leadership of Mr. Faruque Hassan has taken charge for 2021-2023. Textile Focus has been talking with BGMEA members’ company owners regarding the expectation from the new board. Akbor Haider Munna, Deputy Managing Director of Youth Group.

BGMEA has found its most worth and dynamic team this time undoubtedly. A bunch of youth entrepreneurs with topmost leadership quality are walking along with most seasoned and proven leaders who know the destination we desired for. This time we are at the edge of hectic hurdles what exactly need of potential directives, time orient drives, explore the hardcore sustainability.

As all know we are coming across a deadliest and most adverse natural phenomenon what makes our beloved business loom into a distress pattern. We are still not letting our hope but fixing the desired goal we need to be focus on our business sustainability.

My utmost expectations to the new eligible team to promulgate the business by ensuring a long term initiatives to calm down the raw material prices, exemption of all duties from all imports, uninterrupted power supply if need getting GO of ppp power hub of zone wise which would ensure the industry need, as well extensive subsidy and incentives for industrial “GO GREEN initiatives for next five years which definitely accelerate the momentum of RMG as well help to achieve Govt’s mission of achieving SDG.
