A delegation of BGMEA headed by President Faruque Hassan paid a call on Executive Chairman of Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) Md. Sirazul Islam at BIDA office today. BGMEA delegation included Vice President Miran Ali, Directors Inamul Haq Khan (Bablu), Asif Ibrahim, Asif Ashraf, Abdullah Hil Rakib, Barrister Vidiya Amrit Khan, and Mijanur Rahman.
They had discussion on different issues including ways to create an effective business-friendly environment and improve the ease of doing business in Bangladesh to attract more investment.in the country, especially in non-cotton or man-made fibre (MMF) based textiles.
They also discussed specific issues being faced by a number of liaison offices of foreign buyers in Bangladesh and requested BIDA to address them. BIDA Executive Members Mohsina Yasmin, Md. Shaifullah Mokbul Morshed, and Avijit Chowdhury were present.
