BGMEA signs MoU with 10 top hospitals, diagnostic center for members’ healthcare benefits

BGMEA has taken a major step toward ensuring quality healthcare for its members, officials, employees, and their families by signing MoUs with 10 renowned healthcare institutions — including 9 hospitals and 1 diagnostic center.

The MoU signing ceremony was held at the BGMEA Complex in Uttara, Dhaka, presided over by BGMEA President Mahmud Hasan Khan. Also present were First Vice President Salim Rehman, Senior Vice President Inamul Haq Khan, Vice President Md. Rezwan Selim, Vice President (Finance) Mijanur Rahman, and Directors Shah Rayeed Chowdhury, Faisal Samad, Md. Hasib Uddin, Nafis-ud-Doula, and Enamul Aziz Chowdhury, along with representatives from the respective healthcare organizations. The event was coordinated by BGMEA Director Shah Rayeed Chowdhury.

In his remarks, BGMEA President Mahmud Hasan Khan announced BGMEA’s plan to establish a state-of-the-art hospital in the Gazipur/Ashulia region to provide affordable and quality healthcare services to garment workers.

In his welcome speech, BGMEA Director Shah Rayeed Chowdhury, who is the main driving force behind this initiative, said that this partnership represents a milestone in ensuring better health and well-being for entrepreneurs and professionals in the garment industry.
