Bangladesh Garments Washing Technologists Foundation (BGWTF) celebrated its 10th Anniversary along with AGM & Annual Get-together at International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) on 19th July 2019. A grand daylong grand celebration organized by BGWTF. Md. Siddiqur Rahman, Vice President, FBCCI & Former President of BGMEA was present as chief guest. As special guest Md. Gazi Ahmed Hasan, President, BGWOA; Mr. Mohammad Nasir, Director, BGMEA; Engr. Md. Shafiqur Rahman, President, ITET; Md. Helal Uddin Ahmed, Director, RTISC; Dr. Md. Asaduzzman, Director General, BJRI; Engr. Syed Farid Ahmed, Chief Advisor, BGWTF; Gazi Hafizur Rahman Liku, APS-02, Honorable Prime Minister; Engr. Shafiur Rahman, Country Manager, G-Star Raw; Khondoker Mahfuzul Alam, Advisor, BGWTF; Engr. Md. Mehadi Hasan; Founder President & Chief Executive, BGWTF & Mr. Umut Demirats, Regional Manager- South Asia Kaiser Tekstil, Turkey were present in this occasion. Bangladesh textile industry is moving forward and garments washing industry is a vital part of this industry. As our government has taken initiative to improve the textile industry and providing all support hope this industry will reach it export target 50 Billion dollar within very short time. BGWTF is a professional organization where the washing technologists are united and working for the betterment of its members and the industry as well. BGWTF currently has 100+ life members and 600+ general members. It was formed 10 years back and gradually expanding its activities which is playing a very significant role in the textile industry. Chief Guest and special guests congratulates BGWTF for its bonding for the last 10 years and they expressed their hope that BGWTF will work largely to improve the condition of Bangladesh Garments Washing industry.
It was a colorful daylong event with inauguration ceremony, 10 years celebration with cake, magazine unveiling, crest given ceremony, development award, technical seminar, quiz competition, fashion show, cultural program. Members of BGWTF who are working different garments washing factories joined this mega event and expressed their happiness to be a part of BGWTF. Engr. Md. Mehadi Hasan, Founder President and Chief Executive of BGWTF mentioned that BGWTF will be engaged in different innovative activities which will improve the garments washing industry scenario and its members. S M Sohel Rana, Managing Director of Denim Solution informed that Denim Solution is a providing textile processing dyes & chemicals specially for Denim industry. He expressed his pleasure to be part of this mega event and declare from Denim Solution they will try to support all activities of BGWTF.
