Desk Report: Bangladesh Garments Washing Technologists Foundation (BGWTF) arranged their annual general meeting and get together on 26 March at Priyanka shooting spot and resort at savar that was cheered up with the participation around thousands of guests and washing technologists. Faruque Hassan, President BGMEA were present as a chief guest where BGWTF President Abdus Samad Arian, General Manager washing, TUSUKA Processing Ltd presided the event and Mahasinuzzaman Shishir, General Manager, Natural Denims and Wash & Wear Ltd and newly General Secretary of BGWTF hosted the event.

It was a colorful daylong event with inauguration ceremony, magazine unveiling, crest given ceremony, development award, technical seminar, raffle draw , fashion show, cultural program.
In BGWTF’s Annual Program, Best Development Award was given for keeping the leadership role in the washing sector. Maxcom Washing ; Green Washing Ltd; Starling Laundry Ltd, Natural Washing Ltd, got respectively first, second, third and fourth prize.On the event, Platinum sponsor were Denim Solution Ltd; Gold sponser was, Eco Chem Ltd. Textile Focus was the media partner at this event.
BGWTF started its journey from 2009 as a non-profit, non-political charitable foundation. The mission of this foundation is to share technical solution regarding garments washing and to help the members through charitable activities. BGWTF also arranges technical training for the members and for the manpower to sharpen their knowledge.
