Desk Report: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between BKMEA and the Academy of Garments Technology Bangladesh for the skill enhancement of mid-level management in knitwear factories. BKMEA Executive President Mohammad Hatem and Managing Director of the Academy of Garments Technology Zhuang Lifeng signed the agreement.
It is signed on 11 October 2022 at the BKMEA Dhaka office. BKMEA Vice President Fazlee Shamim Ehsan and the senior officers of the two organizations were present on the occasion.
Under the agreement, supply chain management and other necessary training will be provided to the mid-level employees of BKMEA member factories to improve their skills. BKMEA and the Academy of Garment Technology will work jointly in overall program management including conducting surveys for training, preparation of reports, collection and analysis, content determination, and mutual information exchange as per the agreement.
