BKMEA and Nirapon Strengthen Collaboration to Advance Workplace Safety in RMG Sector

Collaborating on mutual efforts to promote workplace safety, a meeting between BKMEA and Nirapon was held at the BKMEA Dhaka office today (16 October).

The meeting was presided over by BKMEA President Mohammad Hatem, accompanied by BKMEA Director Minhazul Hoque.

Nirapon was represented by its newly appointed CEO Lewis Temple, along with Iqbal Nandra, Strategic Communications and Advocacy, and Mehdi Hasan Khan, Manager, Safety Management System.

The discussion focused on strengthening partnerships and enhancing collaboration between key stakeholders to accelerate workplace safety initiatives in Bangladesh’s RMG sector.

BKMEA President expressed keen interest in learning more about Nirapon’s operational strategies and approaches to ensuring sustainable safety standards.

Nirapon is a US-based, industry-led nonprofit organization that works closely with manufacturers, global brands and retailers to build and sustain a culture of workplace safety in Bangladesh’s garment factorie.
