BKMEA Donates Tk. 5 Million for Medical Treatment of Injured Anti-Discrimination Movement Protesters

BKMEA has handed over a check of tk. 5 million for the medical treatment of the injured at the anti-discrimination student movement.

BKMEA Donates Tk. 5 Million

The president of the organization Mr. Mohammad Hatem handed over the check to the coordinators of the movement.

On this occasion, a casual program was organized at BKMEA Dhaka office on Thursday (September 19, 2024).

One of the coordinators of movement, Mr. Sarjis Alam, AKH Akhtar Hossain and Ariful Islam Adeeb were present at this time.

BKMEA president paid tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed themselves in the movement. He said, those who sacrificed their lives to establish a society free from discrimination, will live forever. He urged everyone to come forward to ensure good treatment for those who are injured.

BKMEA Executive President Fazlee Shamim Ehsan was present at this time. Financial support is not enough to stand by the injured, he mentioned. He urged everyone to come forward with talent, hard work and above all good intentions.

Senior Vice President Mr. Mansoor Ahmed, Vice President (Finance) Morshed Sarwar Sohel, former Vice President Masuduzzaman and senior officials of BKMEA were also present in the event.
