A delegation of BRAC led by its Executive Director Asif Saleh met with BGMEA President Faruque Hassan at BGMEA office in Dhaka on 30 May.
They had discussion on possible areas of collaboration between BGMEA and BRAC, especially on issues and specific activities for the benefit of BGMEA member factories through livelihood programs and social enterprises of BRAC.
BGMEA Vice President Md. Shahidullah Azim, Vice President ,Miran Ali ,Directors Md. Mohiuddin Rubel and Md. Imranur Rahman were present the meeting.
The BRAC delegation included Tasmiah Tabassum, Head of Strategy and Business, Skills Development Programme, Jenefa Jabbar, Director Human Rights Legal Aid Services, Social Compliance & Safeguarding, Professor M Mahboob Rahman Treasure and VP Administration, BRAC Univerity and Sarah Binte Mohiuddin Programme Manager Social Compliance.
