Country representatives of international apparel brands including H&M, Inditex, PVH, El Corte Inglés, Kontoor and VF Corporation met with BGMEA Vice President Miran Ali at BGMEA Complex on August 23.
BGMEA Director Md. Imranur Rahman was also present at the meeting.
They discussed issues pertaining to the apparel industry of Bangladesh, including the potential for business expansion and how the competitiveness of the country could be enhanced.
Vice President Miran Ali apprised the brands’ representatives of the key priorities of the industry and BGMEA to develop the sector’s capabilities.
