BUFT Celebrates 13th Founding Anniversary with Doa and Iftar Mahfil

BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (BUFT) celebrated its 13th Founding Anniversary with a Doa and Iftar Mahfil at its Multipurpose Hall on 16 March 2025, bringing together distinguished guests, faculty, and staff for prayer and celebration during Ramadan. The event featured a cake-cutting ceremony led by Mr. Faruque Hassan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees (BoT), BUFT, alongside other BoT members. Prof. Dr. Engr. Ayub Nabi Khan, Acting Vice Chancellor, attended with the Treasurer, Registrar, Deans, Heads of Departments, faculty, and staff, reaffirming BUFT’s commitment to academic excellence in fashion, textile, arts, business, and technology education.

A special prayer was held for the university’s prosperity, the nation’s welfare, and global peace. This was followed by a communal Iftar, strengthening the bonds of unity and brotherhood among attendees. The event highlighted BUFT’s ongoing dedication to academic and professional excellence while fostering a strong sense of community among all stakeholders.
