BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (BUFT) signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Linctex Technology Co., Limited (Style3D), a global pioneer in 3D digital fashion solutions, on 18 August 2025, aiming to integrate cutting-edge digital design technology into its academic curriculum. The signing ceremony was held today at the BUFT campus in Dhaka. The MoU was signed by Mr. Faruque Hassan, Chairman, Board of Trustees, BUFT, and Mr. Alfie Chen, Chief Operating Officer of Style3D. The event was graced by key industry stakeholders, academics, and media representatives.

Under this partnership, Style3D will provide 30 annual software licenses to BUFT students and conduct specialized faculty training programs. The collaboration aims to enhance student proficiency in 3D fashion design, support curriculum integration, and foster industry engagement through joint events and workshops. Acting Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Engr. Ayub Nabi Khan welcomed attendees and emphasized the significance of digital transformation in fashion education. Style3D COO Mr. Chen and BUFT Chairman Mr. Hassan shared their visions for future industry-academia collaboration.
