Students of BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (BUFT) have achieved notable success by securing prestigious scholarships at leading universities in China, reflecting their academic excellence, dedication, and commitment to international higher education.
Three students from the Department of Textile Engineering and Management: Md. Reza Mahamud (Batch 181), Shariar Antor (Batch 211), and Sharmin Akter (Batch 211) have received the CSC Silk Road Program Scholarship. Md. Shahadat Hossain (Batch 191) and Md. Mehedi Hasan (Batch 131) have been awarded the Presidentβs Scholarship. Additionally, Md. Jahidul Islam (Textile Engineering, Batch 201) has received the Presidentβs Scholarship at Jiangnan University, China.
The achievements highlight the talent and determination of BUFT students to pursue advanced education and professional opportunities on the global stage. The BUFT Career Development Center (CDC), under the coordination of Ms. Rita Rani Das, Admin Officer, played a key role in coordinating the scholarship process and providing continuous guidance and support to the students. The Honorable Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Ayub Nabi Khan, has continuously supervised and supported the initiative while encouraging students to pursue international higher education opportunities.
