CanCham Bangladesh inaugurates new office

The Canada Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CanCham Bangladesh) celebrated the grand opening of its new office yesterday (5 May).

The event was graced by HE Ajit Singh, high commissioner of Canada to Bangladesh, who officially inaugurated the space, said a press release.

Debra Boyce, senior trade commissioner at the High Commission of Canada, also joined the occasion.

CanCham Bangladesh Board members gathered for the ceremony, where Mohammad Kamal Uddin, president, CanCham Bangladesh warmly welcomed everyone.

The high commissioner expressed his congratulations to CanCham Bangladesh on their new home and praised the chamber’s ongoing commitment to fostering strong ties.

The meeting underscored the importance of sustainable development, enhanced mutual collaboration, and stronger partnerships in trade and investment between Canada and Bangladesh, the release said.

From its new premises, CanCham Bangladesh will continue to actively serve as a platform for promoting trade, investment, and community engagement between the two countries, it added.
