Carlo Bocardo appointed president of CCI

Cotton Council International (CCI) has announced Carlo Bocardo as its President for 2025. Bocardo, Executive Vice President of Sales for Calcot, Ltd., will spearhead CCI’s efforts to promote U.S. cotton exports and reinforce the COTTON USA™ brand globally.

“CCI is driving innovation and technology to lead the world to cotton’s next level, and I’m eager to serve as CCI President and show our export customers that U.S. cotton remains the global cotton leader,” Bocardo said. He added that CCI’s committed to providing personalized services to mill customers to enhance U.S. cotton demand and loyalty.

Bocardo succeeds U.S. cotton grower Lee Cromley, who will now serve as CCI Chairman. CCI, the export promotion arm of the National Cotton Council (NCC), operates programs in over 50 countries under the COTTON USA™ trademark.

This leadership transition signifies CCI’s ongoing dedication to strengthening the position of U.S. cotton in the international market, focusing on technological advancements and customer-centric approaches.
