The textile and garment capital of Bangladesh came alive today as the curtains rose on the 24th Bangladesh Edition of the globally renowned Textile Series of Exhibitions, organized by the leading Multinational Exhibition Organizer, CEMS-Global USA. The opening ceremony at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Exhibition Centre, Purbachal, drew leading policymakers, industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and Industry Stakeholders from around the world, making Dhaka once again the Global hub for Textiles and Apparel.

The Opening Ceremony was presided over by Ms. Meherun N. Islam, President and Group Managing Director of CEMS-Global and Asia-Pacific. Present as Special Guests from the Government were Mr. Md. Shahidul Islam – Director General, Department of Textiles – Ministry of Textile & Jute; Mr. Md. Saiful Islam – Chairman of the Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation (BSCIC); Ms. Baby Rani Karmakar – Director General-1 (Joint Secretary) of the Export Promotion Bureau of Bangladesh; and Mr. Md. Muzib-Ul-Ferdous – Director General, Local Investment Promotion of Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA).

Special Guests from the Bangladesh Garment Industry were Mr. Md. Shamsuzzaman, CIP, Vice President of Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BKMEA), and Mr. Mijanur Rahman – Vice President of Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA).

Running from 10 – 13 September 2025, this landmark edition unites three powerhouse exhibitions under one roof:

  • 24th Textech Bangladesh 2025 International Expo – On Textile & Garment Technology and Machinery
  • 24th Dhaka International Yarn and Fabric Show 2025 (Summer Edition) – On Yarn, Fabric, Trims & Accessories

  • 48th DyeChem Bangladesh 2025 International Expo – On Dyestuffs and Fine & Specialty Chemicals

Together, they form the largest and most comprehensive B2B exhibition of its kind in Bangladesh, presenting the entire textile value chain – from cutting-edge machinery and advanced materials to sustainable dyestuffs and chemical innovations.

For nearly a quarter of a century, the Bangladesh Edition of the Textile Series of Exhibitions has stood as the country’s longest-running and most trusted international exhibition platform for the industry. Since its inception, it has played a decisive role in the transformation of Bangladesh’s textile and garment industry, helping factories modernize their operations with cutting-edge machinery, automation, and energy-efficient solutions.

By bringing global manufacturers directly to Bangladesh, the show has enabled local textile and garment manufacturers to establish direct sourcing partnerships, reduce costs, and enhance their competitiveness in the global marketplace. Equally important has been its role in advancing sustainability practices, with DyeChem Bangladesh introducing sustainable chemicals, biodegradable dyes, and eco-friendly solutions that are now essential for meeting international compliance requirements.

This year’s 24th edition has attracted exhibitors from more than 30 countries, underlining Bangladesh’s growing importance as a global sourcing hub. Exhibitors from across Asia, Europe, and beyond have converged here to explore opportunities, strike partnerships, and respond to the pressing challenges of today’s supply chain realignments, tariffs, rising production costs, and the growing demand for responsible sourcing.

As the global textile and garment industry undergoes a major supply chain realignment, Bangladesh stands at a crossroads of opportunity and transformation. Industry experts note that what sets this exhibition apart is its impact rather than scale. Year after year, it has helped Bangladeshi manufacturers stay aligned with global standards, diversify their sourcing, and introduce innovative products and technologies. With its structured buyer-supplier matchmaking programs, Seminars, and live demonstrations, the exhibition is designed to provide actionable solutions that businesses can adopt immediately, which greatly help to shape the future of the industry.

Over the next four days, Dhaka will serve as the center stage where global manufacturers, Bangladesh Industry professionals, Industry leaders, and stakeholders converge to forge new partnerships and unlock the next phase of Bangladesh’s textile and garment growth story.

The Exhibition continues until 13 September 2025, daily from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Exhibition Centre (DITF Fair Complex), in Purbachal, Dhaka.
