CEMS-Global Successfully Concludes the 24th Bangladesh Edition of the Textile Series of Exhibitions

CEMS-Global has successfully concluded the 24th Bangladesh Edition of its renowned Textile Series of Exhibitions, held at the New Bangladesh-China Friendship Exhibition Centre in Purbachal, Dhaka. The Four-day event once again proved to be a premier platform for global manufacturers, industry leaders, and professionals from Bangladesh’s textile and garment sector, fostering collaboration and showcasing the latest innovations and technologies.

Taking place from 10–13 September 2025, this landmark edition celebrated 24 years of CEMS-Global’s dedication to empowering and advancing Bangladesh’s textile and apparel industry. Thousands of visitors attended the exhibition, creating new opportunities for partnerships, business growth, and investments.

The Opening Ceremony was presided over by Ms. Meherun N. Islam, President and Group Managing Director of CEMS-Global and CEMS-Global Asia-Pacific. Distinguished guests included senior representatives from the Government of Bangladesh, such as:

Mr. Md. Shahidul Islam, Director General, Department of Textiles, Ministry of Textile & Jute

Mr. Md. Saiful Islam, Chairman, Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation (BSCIC)

Ms. Baby Rani Karmakar, Director General-1 (Joint Secretary), Export Promotion Bureau (EPB)

Mr. Md. Muzib-Ul-Ferdous, Director General, Local Investment Promotion, Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA)

The event also drew key leaders from the garment industry, including Mr. Md. Shamsuzzaman, CIP, Vice President of the Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BKMEA), and Mr. Mijanur Rahman, Vice President of the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA).

With strong participation from exhibitors and visitors alike, the 24th Bangladesh Edition of the Textile Series of Exhibitions reinforced Bangladesh’s growing importance in the global textile arena and set the stage for continued innovation, investment, and industry growth in the years ahead.
