Centro Tex & Silkflex jointly organized a seminar on Sustainable Textile  Screen Printing

Bangladesh based a leading multinational apparel sourcing company Centro Tex Ltd and Silkflex Bangladesh has organized a seminar on innovation in textile screen printing for value addition in apparel products.

The seminar aimed to promote innovation and sustainable practices, which are essential for the Bangladesh apparel industry to remain competitive and meet international compliance standards.

The seminar also featured an insightful technical presentation by Dr. Eric HL Tan, Managing Director of Silkflex Polymers SDN BHD, who elaborated on the technology and innovation behind the Silkflex Re-Act product line.

Silkflex, Centro team & printing professionals were present at the seminar. The seminar ” was held on November 11 at the centro office in the capital.

Dr. Eric HL Tan, Managing Director of Silkflex Polymers Sdn. Bhd., was the keynote speaker of the topic Silkflex-Re-Act and described their features and latest development of printing ink and other printing chemicals.

Dr.Eric said in his presentation, Years after years, the factories who are working for screen print on Nylon, Polyester and Taffeta fabric, they face problems for both brand and retailer’s chemical and physical test requirements. SILKFLEX has made easier the complication of these types of fabric print by introducing water-based inks for Taffeta, Nylon and Polyester fabric,he added.

Dr. Eric HL Tan also said, “Silkflex combines the chemical and artistic parameters to provide solutions in textile screen printing for stain resistance, chemical resistance, light fastness etc.”
