BEPZA welcomes October4128 (BD) Ltd., a Chinese company, to the BEPZA Economic Zone (BEPZA EZ) in Mirsharai, Chattogram.
With an investment of US$ 19.72 million, the company will set up a high-end apparel manufacturing factory, creating 2,788 jobs for Bangladeshi nationals.
The factory will produce around 3 million pieces of premium outdoor and performance wear annually – including ski, snow sports, hunting and motor rider’s gear, insulated winter coats, down jackets, rain gear, workwear, and activewear.
The agreement was signed today between BEPZA and October4128 (BD) Ltd., marking another milestone in attracting quality foreign investment to Bangladesh, especially the zones under BEPZA. With this new addition, 49 enterprises have signed agreements with BEPZA EZ, the largest venture of BEPZA, and 6 have already commenced production.
