Chinese company Tianhui Button (BD) Co. Ltd. will establish a garment accessories manufacturing industry in the Cumilla Export Processing Zone (Cumilla EPZ).
They will invest US$4 million annually to produce 700 million pieces of different kinds of buttons, such as plastic, resin, ABS, metal, and PU leather accessories. This foreign company will create employment opportunities for 139 Bangladeshi nationals.
In the presence of BEPZA Executive Chairman Major General Abul Kalam Mohammad Ziaur Rahman, BSP, ndc, psc, an agreement to this effect signed between Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA) and Tianhui Button (BD) Co. Ltd. at BEPZA Complex, Dhaka today (12-09-2024). Member (Investment Promotion) of BEPZA, Mr. Md. Ashraful Kabir, and Chairman of Tianhui Button (BD), Mr. Weirong Ni, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.
