Portuguese Textile and Apparel Association congratulates Mário Jorge Machado on his re-election as President of EURATEX.
This new mandate reflects the confidence placed in his leadership and his continued commitment to strengthening the competitiveness, resilience, and strategic relevance of the European textile and apparel industry.
As highlighted by ATP Director General, Ana Paula Dinis:
“I have been following the work of EURATEX since 2004, which made this a particularly special and emotional moment for me. It was wonderful to reconnect with former colleagues, revisit shared initiatives, and reflect on everything that has happened over the years.
Companies may sometimes feel they are facing challenges alone, but behind the scenes there are associations such as EURATEX and ATP working every day to defend the interests of our industry. Much of this work goes unnoticed. In many cases, more time is spent fighting the battles than talking about them.
Thank you to the EURATEX team for creating this moment and, above all, for 30 years of commitment to the European textile and apparel industry. Congratulations on this milestone, and best wishes for continued success in the years ahead!”
