Brazil took part in the annual congress of the International Textile Manufacturers Federation (ITMF) and the International Apparel Federation (IAF) in Samarkand, Uzbekistan. The Brazilian delegation, consisting of five representatives from Cotton Brazil, was led by the Brazilian Cotton Growers Association (Abrapa).
With the theme “Innovation, Cooperation, and Regulation – Drivers of the Textile and Apparel Industry,” the congress gathered industry leaders from around the globe. The event featured plenary sessions from the two organizing bodies and explored key topics vital to the manufacturing sector, such as the circular economy, artificial intelligence, digital labeling, regulation, and socio-environmental audits.
