Cotton Incorporated Hosts Cotton Innovation Event in Dhaka to Showcase Future Trends and Technologies in Cotton

Cotton Incorporated successfully hosted the Cotton Innovation Event at Le Meridien Dhaka on Thursday, May 22, 2025, bringing together key industry professionals to explore the future of cotton through trend forecasts, fabric innovations, and sustainability-focused technologies.

The event began with a warm welcome and opening remarks by Mr. Daniel Wong, Executive Account Manager, Supply Chain Marketing Asia. Mr. Wong also delivered an insightful presentation on the Fashion Trend Forecast for Fall/Winter 2026/2027, along with an overview of Cotton Incorporated’s latest product developments. This session was conducted in both in-person and virtual formats, ensuring wide accessibility.

Following this, Ms. Lauren Williams, Trend Forecaster, presented a comprehensive look into the latest trends in color, fabric, silhouette, and styling. Her presentation featured vivid imagery, including exclusive runway shots, providing attendees with a deep dive into what to expect in upcoming fashion seasons.

Ms. Carrie Yates, Associate Director of Product Development, shared groundbreaking advancements in knit and woven fabric developments. Attendees gained insights into newly engineered fabric constructions and innovative finishing techniques. Upon request, fabric samples and swatches were made available to participants, enriching their hands-on understanding. A dedicated session focused on Sustainable Dyeing Techniques and Advanced Cotton Performance Technologies, emphasizing Cotton Incorporated’s commitment to environmental responsibility and technological excellence.

Mr. Kenneth Greeson, Associate Director of Textile Chemistry Research, led a dynamic presentation on advanced performance technologies applied to cotton fabrics, tailored for both apparel and home textile applications.

The event concluded with a lively question-and-answer session, led by the Cotton Incorporated team, encouraging dialogue and deeper engagement with the audience.
