According to the latest OTEXA data, cotton trousers imports in the United States climbed by 27.74 percent in value to $ 4.58 billion and by 38.51 percent in quantity to 81.68 million dozen from January to May of this year.
Bangladesh remained on top of the list, shipping $1 billion worth of cotton pants to the United States, representing a 15.76 percent annual increase. Bangladesh once again topped the count, surpassing China with 19.05 million dozen of trousers shipped, while China sold 17.05 million dozen of cotton trousers to the US, registering a 66.52 percent year-on-year increase during the review period.
