Crony Apparel, Abanti Colour Tex awarded “Fire safety certificate” by Groupe ERAM & BFSCD

Desk Report: Groupe ERAM in collaboration with Bangladesh Fire Service & Civil Defence (BFSCD) organized certificate distribution ceremony to 7 factories for tremendous effort and continuous measures considered on fire safety. The program held at FSCD Head Quarter (HQ) in Bangladesh on 28 March 2022 in presence of Groupe ERAM & FSCD high officials, said a press release.

Nicolas Lanvoc (Social & Environmental Compliance Manager), Mozammel Hoque (Bangladesh Sustainability Manager), Sanjay K. Sarkar (Sustainability officer) were present in this ceremony from Groupe Eram along with other colleagues. Nicolas Lanvoc emphasized on the fire safety significance that has to be maintained and requested factories to keep it up with their level of achievements.

Lt. Col. Zillur Rahman- FSCD Director (Operation & Maintenance) was the chief guest there and delivered valuable speech addressing fire safety regulations requirements and appreciated the effort from factories in response to the advises from inspection officers.

He also cited examples of other countries on which Bangladesh can work to improve. Later Groupe ERAM recognized his support with an honoring certificate. Shaidul Alam Chowdhury (Senior Station Officer-FSCD) as also coordinating the program where inspection officers also recognized for their performance.

Group Eram is one of the French fashion brand and they are sourcing sustaible products and working with 83 factories in Bangladesh.

BGMEA Director Neela Hosne Ara (Chairman- Crony Group) has delivered her excellent speech poetizing the workers safety and women empowerment in RMG sector. Also expressed gratitude to Groupe ERAM & FSCD for unique initiative and continuous support.

Crony Group saved 2 awards; Farid Ibnea Latif (Technical Director- Crony Group) and Navneet Paul Singh (Country Manager-Tex Alliance S.A.) received awards for the certified factories Abanti Colour Tex Ltd. and Crony Apparels Ltd.

Crony Group was also represented by Md. Janea Alam (AGM-Compliance) and Tex Alliance S. A. by Md. Mahfuz Ul Bashar (Manager – Compliance).

Afrah Fashion Ltd, Tex Tech Company Ltd, FB Footwear Ltd, Ratul Fabrics Ltd, Knit Radix Ltd were there also to receive the certificates from Groupe ERAM and FSCD.
