Press Release: We are excited to announce that Crony Group has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Asian University for Women, which will provide a unique opportunity for our female factory workers.

As part of this collaboration, 4 female factory workers from Crony Group will receive a 5-year full scholarship worth 15,000 USD from AUW. The scholarship will cover tuition fees, school supplies, canteen facilities, and rent.

Additionally, Crony Group will provide a salary to these workers for the duration of their studies. This is a great opportunity for these workers to improve their education and skills, and we are proud to be a part of it.

The course is a 5-year program, which includes a 2-year foundation course and a 3-year major subject. We believe this partnership with AUW will not only benefit our workers but also help to create a more educated and skilled workforce in Bangladesh.

We are committed to investing in our employees’ growth and development, and this collaboration is just one example of our ongoing efforts. Crony Group is excited about this opportunity and looks forward to continuing to support our employees and the local community!

The MoU was signed by Neela Ara, the Chairperson of Crony Group and Suman Chatterjee, Director of Student Recruitment and Acting Dean of Students. The signing ceremony took place at our Dhaka offices on 12 April 2023. Shakir Nayem, representative of Crony Group and Sabina Yeasmin, Admissions Coordinator of AUW were also present.
