A complete CV represents the candidate to the employer. There are some special tricks for a presentable CV. Recently a CV Writing workshop was organized at Sheikh Kamal Textile Engineering College, Jhenaidah, by SKTEC Career Club. This workshop covered standard CV information requirements to achieve stand out an identity of an individual at the sight of employers. Engr. Zahid Murad Shuva, Lecturer, Shaheed Abdur Rab Serniabat Textile Engineering College (SARSTEC) & Moderator of SARSTEC Career Club (SCC) was the key note speaker of the program. Engr. Fahad Mahmud Marut, Moderator of SKTEC Career Club was also present at the weokshop.
Speaker Engr. Zahid Murad Shuva said “CV is the opportunity to show an employer why you an ideal candidates for the job”. He also said “When you drop a CV in any company it’s the first impression to judge you. So, it should be smart and attractive”. He also instructed how to write a smart CV. What to do. What not to do. 5 tips for an effective CV. Tawkir Ahmmed Tomal, President of SCC and Md. Saddam Hosen, General Secretary of SCC were present there as guest. They also talked with SKTECian about CV writing and welfare of SKTEC Career Club. Their presence indicates the bond between the two campuses. The workshop was organized by SKTEC Career Club .The media partner was Textile Focus. Finally the Press and Publication Secretary of SKTEC career club Ridwan Olive has announced a contest for CV writing among the students. Top 03 winner of the CV writing contest will receive one year free subscription of renowned international textile magazine, Textile Focus.
