Cynergy Limited has signed an agreement with Dutch-Bangla Pack Limited (DBPL) to develop a 608 kWp rooftop solar power project at DBPL’s manufacturing facility in Gazaria, Munshiganj.

Established in 2007, Dutch-Bangla Pack Limited is a Netherlands–Bangladesh joint venture and a 100% export-oriented manufacturer of Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers (FIBCs/Big Bags) for the food, pharmaceutical and industrial sectors.
Under the project, a 608 kWp rooftop solar PV system will be installed at DBPL’s industrial facility. The solar installation is expected to supply renewable electricity directly to manufacturing operations, helping reduce dependence on grid electricity and associated carbon emissions.
DBPL operates as a vertically integrated manufacturing facility with High Care Cleanroom capabilities and holds internationally recognized certifications, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, FSSC 22000 and SA8000.
According to Cynergy, the project represents another step toward expanding solar energy adoption across Bangladesh’s export-oriented manufacturing sector. The company said its team will focus on maintaining high standards of engineering, safety, quality and project execution.
The 608 kWp installation will also contribute to transforming industrial rooftops into clean-energy assets, supporting the sector’s transition toward more sustainable manufacturing.
