The second edition of Dhaka Apparel Summit was held with much enthusiasm and spontaneous participation of speakers and audience from home and abroad.
Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the Summit at Hotel Pan Pacific Sonargaon in Dhaka on 25 February. Finance Minister AMA Muhith, Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed, Foreign Minister Abul Hassan Mahmood Ali, State Minister for Labour and Employment Mujibul Haque (Chunnu), the BGMEA Vice Presidents, Board of Directors, and former BGMEA Presidents also attended the opening ceremony.
BGMEA President Md. Siddiqur Rahman presided over the inaugural ceremony which was packed with participants, including diplomats, government high-ups, academics, industrialists, business leaders, journalists, students and other professions.
