Driving towards a Sustainable Tomorrow: EV2GO bike showcase at Rishka Festival 2025

As the global climate crisis intensifies and temperatures continue to rise, the urgency for zero-carbon solutions has never been more crucial. Solar EPC Development Ltd., a pioneer in Bangladesh’s renewable energy sector, is leading the change toward a sustainable future by promoting clean energy and green mobility.

Our commitment to decarbonization and a greener Bangladesh has taken a new shape through our sister concern, E-Mobility Venture Pvt. Ltd., and the introduction of EV2GO electronic bikes—a milestone in our journey to cut down carbon-intensive fuel dependency.

At the heart of our initiative lies a shared vision with Nobel Laureate Dr. Muhammad Yunus’s – Zero Net Carbon Emission.

The concept behind EV2GO is simple yet powerful: to reduce air pollution while aligning with the growing demand for renewable energy. These electric bikes are not only eco-friendly but also cost-effective, making them an accessible solution for daily commuters. Designed with future mobility in mind, EV2GO represents a smart, sustainable alternative for a rapidly urbanizing Bangladesh.

Market Potential: The EV Landscape in Bangladesh

The electric vehicle market in Bangladesh is on the rise. As of 2024, electric two-wheeler and three-wheelers are already in operation, highlighting the country’s readiness to adopt clean mobility. Bangladesh is charting a transformative course toward sustainable transportation, aiming to achieve 30% electric vehicle (EV) adoption by 2030 and 70.6% by 2050. This initiative aligns with the nation’s commitment to reduce 3.39 million tonnes of CO₂ emissions from road transport by 2030, as outlined in its Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs).

EV2GO Electronic Bike

Our first public showcasing took place at the Rishka Festival 2025, held from April 12–14. The response was overwhelmingly positive, especially from women and student communities, indicating a growing enthusiasm for accessible, green mobility solutions. The event helped us directly connect with the next generation of eco-conscious riders who are ready to embrace futuristic transport models.

It’s a very lucrative opportunity for RMG Industry, textile factories, logistics firms, and urban delivery operators to explore bulk purchase programs of EV2GO bikes. A mass transition from petrol-based transports to EV2GO bikes can:

  • Lower operational costs by up to 60%
  • Enhance Company’s CSR profile through sustainable and environmentally friendly actions.
  • Qualify businesses for carbon credit opportunities and green financing

Looking ahead, Solar EPC is working towards creating a solar-powered EV ecosystem by establishing solar charging stations dedicated to powering electronic bikes across urban and semi-urban areas. This integrated model aims to ensure that our green transportation solution is backed by clean, renewable solar energy, creating a truly sustainable infrastructure.

As the market shifts towards a low-carbon future, we remain steadfast in our mission:

Empowering A Greener Bangladesh Through Innovation, Inclusivity, And Impact.
