The 2019 Dhaka Int’l Textile & Garment Machinery Exhibition (DTG), the largest-ever trade fair of its kind in Bangladesh, kicked off at International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB). Since its debut in 2004, DTG has kept its expansion in exhibition scale as well as participants. This year, over 1,650 booths from 37 countries have been occupied by exhibitors to showcase a variety of equipment, products, technologies as well as services and information concerning all the textile & garment processing and production aspects.
Textile Focus technical team talked with some exhibitors of DTG 2019 regarding their latest technologies and response. Some of the key points are mentioned bellow for our readers-
Dutch Lube Company Limited is the first knitting oil manufacturing company from Bangladesh exhibited DTG 2019. Md. Noor Iman, Managing Director, Dutch Lube Company Limited informed-
“We started our business 02 years back. Already we have set a benchmark in the industry by providing quality knitting oil at an affordable rate. We are confident about our products and we are ready to replace any damage or quality hamper it any. In fact there is no chance of lower quality as the products are checked and ensured the quality in the factory by the technical experts. In this exhibition we met so many clients and they expressed their satisfaction of using our products.
We look forward to export knitting oil in Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia specially the countries where knitted fabric is produced. The main advantage the products are cost effective and best after sales services. We are targeting 80% market share within two years.”
NAZ Corporation was present at the exhibitions with the brands it represents. Mr. Mazharul Ahmed Rumon, CEO, NAZ Corporation informed that they are representing Morrison, Pentek, UKIL, Cankur Makina, DEKA MATINA, Bann, Tata Pakistan, Piovan, Tianma Screen brands in Bangladesh with best services-

“This is good exhibition for Bangladesh. This is different from other exhibition. This time first 02 days was less visitors but there are so many quality visitors in last 02 days. We met so many clients in the exhibition and 50% of those is new client who had so many queries.
I have been visiting Bangladesh for the last 02 years. In the exhibition we can meet many customers which is not possible by visiting factories due to transport time. We are providing 05 types of machineries. Bangladesh market is very prospective and we are looking forward to get good response from this market.”

Bangladesh is now a market for quality and value added products. We are looking forward to showcase our latest developments in ITMA 2019 in Spain.
From our agent Texco Tech we are getting good support and there are a lot of queries from the industry. We have some activities in planning and we are expecting a good turnover form Bangladesh market this year. Comparing other countries in this sub-continent Bangladesh is very prospective in all respect. I see very bright future of Bangladesh. What is important for Bangladesh market is to focus more and quality of the products. From our company R&F we want to be a development partner of Bangladesh textile industry.”
Wintex Resource exhibited their strong presence at DTG. Md. Faruk Hossen Sarkar, CEO, Wintex Resources Limited informed-
“We were in a bit confusion participation at the exhibition as DTG & Garmentech just after the election. We regularly participate both exhibition but this time we participated DTG with larger space. We received huge appreciation from the clients and visitors. We arrange to live demonstration of Auto Cutter and Smart MRT Hanger system. For this exhibition we arrange to bring 05 Ton weighted Auto Cutter by air which was so expensive. But we are pleased to inform that we received satisfaction of so many customer regarding our products and service. Based on queries we are now following up the requirements, I am happy to inform that some clients are thinking about our products event they have already decided about other products. We are representing FK Group and within a very short time Wintex has becoming a trusted partner in the industry.
We also displayed products “SMART MRT – Unit Production Hanger System” to increase up to 30% efficiency from sewing & finishing.
