with the increasing uncertainty caused due to new Omicron variant, many countries have begun to impose new travel rules and other restrictions to contain the spread of virus. In this case the Bangladesh government is unwilling to issue required permission for holding of any international exhibitions.

BTMA, local organizer of DTG, said in a press release, “Our main focus is to provide an effective business platform with a great atmosphere and bring maximum value to all participants. After close monitoring the ongoing impact of the pandemic, we are compelled to postpone the DTG scheduled from March 20-23, 2022 at International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB).

In view of above and considering the current situation of the COVID-19 pandemic, & especially Omicron, we regret to inform you that the 17th Dhaka Int’l Textile & Garment Machinery Exhibition (DTG) has been postponed till 14th February, 2023. The new date of the exhibition is February 15 to 18, 2023.

As the leading regional trade show in the textile and garment industry, we will continue to promote exhibitors information and the latest industry trends on our official website and Facebook fan page. We regret the inconveniences and thank you for your continued support and understanding. See you in 2023.”
