DWMTEC Career Club successfully organized the seminar on Professional Mindset

On April 8th, 2023, the renowned DWMTEC Career Club – DCC of Dr. M A Wazed Miah Textile Engineering College held a seminar on “Professional Mindset” and an Eid Special Fashion Show with around 100 enthusiastic attendees from 4 different departments of each batch! We are excited to see how eager our students are to learn and develop skills that will help them in their future careers. It was a highly effective program for the students of Dwmtec, who not only learned a great deal but also enjoyed the fashion show to the fullest.

The seminar started promptly at 11:30 AM in the college auditorium, with Assistant Professor (English) Kabir Hossain as the keynote speaker. His engaging presentation on professionalism captivated the audience from start to finish. He covered various topics, including the importance of a professional mindset, an overview of corporate networking, and conflict management. In addition to these important topics, Professor Hossain also shared his experience with the entrepreneurial mindset and conflict management.

After more than an hour-long seminar, the general secretary of the club, Md. Rashid presented a gift to the speaker on behalf of the organization. Along with that, he showed a presentation about the club’s journey and future plans for everyone. All the participants have promised to stand by in the future.

The Next part of the event began at 1 PM on the stage with an Eid Special Fashion Show. The fashion show was made possible by their wardrobe partner, “Raafline,” and their stylish collection for the upcoming Eid. Thanks to them, DCC was able to run the event smoothly. The models for the fashion show were students from different batches and departments of Dwmtec.

Textile Focus also played a vital role in supporting Dwmtec Career Club as the Media partner for this session. Also, the online magazine partner was Textile Wave.

As Dwmtec Career Club aims for the peak self and career development of the students of Dwmtec, the seminar successfully let Dwmtec Career Club to make one step ahead towards its glorious goal. Overall, it was a successful and engaging event that left a positive impact on the students of Dwmtec.
