DyStar collaborated with ZDHC foundation for textile sustainability

dystar1DyStar has joined the ZDHC Foundation, which administers the Roadmap to Zero Program to phase out dangerous chemicals in the supply chain of textiles, clothing, footwear and leather by encouraging healthier chemistry and fostering innovation.

This project is a joint effort of the Global Chemical Industry Round Table (GCIRT), a group of leading suppliers of chemicals solutions in the textile and leather industry with the goal of moving the sector forward toward sustainable growth. The members of the GCIRT include: DyStar Singapore; Archroma; CHT Germany GmbH; Colourtex Industries; Huntsman Textile Effects; Kisco; Rudolf GmbH; Tanatex Chemicals BV. Dystar will upload its main items to the ZDHC Gateway Chemical Module as part of this initiative and endorse the ZDHC Manufacturing Restricted Substance List (MRSL) and the associated “pyramid” enforcement program designed to remove duplicative approaches. DyStar will regularly collaborate with specific task forces focused on promoting ZDHC ‘s ongoing development programs.
