Eastern University proudly held a reception ceremony to welcome Mr. Md. Maniruzzaman Molla as the new Chairman of the Board of Trustees. The ceremony took place at the Chairman’s office, where esteemed members of the university community gathered to extend their warmest regards and congratulations.
Mr. Mohammed Ali Azzam, the outgoing Chairman, was also honored for his dedication and service during his tenure. Both Mr. Molla and Mr. Azzam were greeted with a beautiful bouquet of flowers, symbolizing a heartfelt welcome and a fond farewell.
The ceremony was attended by key members of the Board of Trustees, including Barrister Safayet Mohammad Raju, Mr. Md. Shahriar from the Eastern University Foundation, and various university officials. Among them were Professor Dr. Shahid Akhtar Hossain, Vice Chancellor; Professor Md. Shamsul Huda, Treasurer; and Mr. Abul Basher Khan, Registrar, along with Deans, Chairpersons, and other officials.
Mr. Molla expressed gratitude for the warm reception and emphasized his commitment to fostering innovation and excellence at Eastern University. He acknowledged the important contributions of Mr. Azzam and assured everyone of his dedication to upholding the university’s vision and values.
Professor Dr. Shahid Akhtar Hossain, Vice Chancellor, appriciated Mr. Molla’s experience and leadership qualities, anticipating a new era of growth and achievement under his chairmanship.
