A business delegation led by Dr. Wali Tasar Uddin MBE, DBA, D.Litt, President of EBFCI and Honourary Consul General of Bangladesh in Scotland, visited Barcelona, Spain, from 19th to 22nd October 2025. During the visit, the delegation held a productive meeting with Mr. Ramon Pedro Barnaus, Consul General of Bangladesh in Barcelona, and his team.
Both Dr. Wali and Mr. Ramon expressed their commitment to strengthening bilateral collaboration between Spain and Bangladesh through various initiatives. They also agreed to work together to establish a strong EBFCI presence in Barcelona.
In addition, the EBFCI team held a constructive meeting with NRB (Non-Resident Bangladeshi) business leaders in Barcelona. The discussions led to a mutual agreement to set up an EBFCI Network Hub in the city, aimed at connecting and empowering Bangladeshi entrepreneurs and professionals in Spain.
