Enayet–Sumayel–Nixon Panel Wins All Positions in 15th ITET Council Election

The Enayet–Sumayel–Nixon Panel, popularly known as the GG Panel, achieved a clean sweep in the 15th Council Election of the Institution of Textile Engineers and Technologists (ITET) held at the Bangladesh University of Textiles.

The panel secured every council position, reflecting overwhelming confidence from the ITET membership. Engr. Sumayel Mohammad Mallik was elected as Senior Vice President, while Engr. A.S.M. Hafizur Rahman Nixon assumed the position of General Secretary unopposed after no other candidates submitted nominations for the respective posts.

The newly elected council is expected to lead ITET in its continued efforts to promote professional excellence and contribute to the advancement of Bangladesh’s textile engineering sector.

Engr. Md. Enayet Hossain was selected President and will lead the new council for the upcoming term.

The council election was conducted at the BUTEX campus in the presence of ITET members. With a clean sweep across all positions, the GG Panel has been entrusted with leading the organization for the forthcoming term. The newly elected council is anticipated to build upon ITET ongoing initiatives by advancing professional development, strengthening industry partnerships, and encouraging greater cooperation within Bangladesh’s textile engineering community.
