Engr. Md. Shafiqur Rahman spoke on the strength of the Bangladesh textile industry at Sustainable Textile Summit 2022

“Bangladesh textile industry has significant development in all compliance issues. In Green industry we are number one in terms of number.” Engr. Shafiqur Rahman, President, The Institution of Textile Engineers and Technologists (ITET)- Bangladesh and Managing Director of Hams Group mentioned at the Sustainable Textile Summit 2022 which held on 22-23 September 2022 at LPS Auditorium, PHD House, New Delhi, India.

The summit is organized by PHD Chamber, India, and supported by the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises, and Government of India.

Engr. Md. Shafiqur Rahman was present at the summit as a special invited speaker from Bangladesh. He was one of distinguished guest speakers at the panel discussion on “Role of Brands in Textile Sustainability” where he shared his practical experience dealing with brands regarding sustainable practices in the industry. Engr. Md. Shafiqur Rahman, is the President of the country’s only institution for textile engineers ITET and Managing Director of Hams group.
