Engr. Syed Ishtiaq Ahmed, elected BTMA Director

Engineer Syed Ishtiaq Ahmed, Managing Director of Saiham Cotton Mills Limited, has been elected as a Director of the Bangladesh Textile Mills Association (BTMA).

Under the leadership of Engineer Syed Ishtiaq Ahmed, Saiham Cotton Mills Limited has produced high-quality yarns and earned a reputation in the international market. The factory, located in Noyapara, Madhabpur Upazila, Habiganj District, utilizes state-of-the-art technology and quality raw materials to produce yarn.

Engineer Syed Ishtiaq Ahmed, son of Mr. Syed Md. Faisal, is the Managing Director of Saiham Cotton Mills Ltd. He has graduated in Engineering from Michigan, USA and is also an MBA with a major in Finance from the Institution of Business Administration (IBA), University of Dhaka. He has vast experience in the Technical, Marketing and Financial aspects of business.

Bangladesh Textile Mills Association was established & has been registered in 1983 with the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies as an Association, not for profit, under the Companies Act 1994. It is managed by 27 Board of Directors, 3 vice presidents and one president.
