In his new role, Engr. Huque will oversee not only the companyβs Bangladesh operations but also its global business, marking a significant step forward in his professional journey and the organizationβs international expansion.
Ocean Textile Effect has established a strong business presence in Bangladesh through strategic partnerships with prominent Chinese enterprises, including Argus and Flariant. As part of its efforts to expand its global footprint, the organization has recently entered into key collaborations with Innovation Innovative UK and Medhasvi Industries Ltd. of India.
Engr. Zahedul Huque completed his graduation from the Bangladesh University of Textiles (BUTEX) in 2001. Alongside his professional responsibilities, he has made notable contributions to textile education and industry knowledge. He serves as an external examiner for both BUTEX and Daffodil International University. He has also contributed several articles to leading textile magazines in Bangladesh.
Throughout his career, Engr. Huque has represented Bangladeshβs textile sector at numerous international textile seminars and industry forums across Asia and Europe, strengthening his professional network and sharing his knowledge and expertise on the global platform.
His professional affiliations include life fellowships with the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB) and the Institution of Textile Engineers and Technologists (ITET).
