Envoy Textiles Ltd has distributed 10,000 trees to 5,100 students from 11 schools across Bhaluka Upazila.
This effort took place over a week-long distribution and plantation programme from September 1 to 7, 2024, as part of Envoy’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme, says a press release.
The initiative aims to increase environmental biodiversity, absorb carbon dioxide (CO2), and contribute to oxygen supply.
Additionally, it helps cultivate a sense of responsibility and connection with nature in the younger generation.
The initiative has become a promise of Envoy Textiles’ commitment to sustainability. Over the years, the company has distributed thousands of trees to students, encouraging them to plant and care for the trees. The goal is to inspire young minds to become protectors of the environment, while contributing to the global fight against climate change.
