The Ex-Students Forum (ESF) of Textile Engineering College, Noakhali (TECN) successfully organized “ESF–TECN Iftar, Dua Mahfil & Light of the Qur’an Competition 2026” on 6 March 2026 (Friday) at Happy Buffet Lounge.
The program was graced by Chief Guest Mohammad S. M. Jahangir Hossain, Honourable Member of Parliament (Dhaka-18).
Among the special guests were Mizanur Rahman, Vice President (Finance), Bangladesh Garments Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) and Managing Director of Fashion Power Group; Md. Nasirul Alam, Managing Director of Tex Tech Company Ltd., Engr. Mohammad Abdur Rakib, Principal of TECN; Prof. Dr Engr. Ayub Nabi Khan, Vice-Chancellor of BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (BUFT); Md. Forhad Hossain, Managing Director and CEO of Pure Chemicals, and Dr Md. Moktar Hossain, Managing Director of Farazy Hospital Ltd.
The event was presided over by Engr. Mizanur Rahman, Chief Advisor of ESF, while Engr. Sahab Uddin Mamun, Advisor of ESF, attended as the program’s Co-Ordinator.
The gathering brought together respected alumni, faculty members, and distinguished guests in a spiritually enriching environment during the holy month of Ramadan. The program featured the “Light of the Qur’an” competition, a Dua Mahfil, and an Iftar gathering, strengthening the bonds among TECN alumni and promoting unity, brotherhood, and spiritual reflection.
The event was coordinated by Engr. Md. Enamul Huq Himel, Convener of ESF Iftar Mahfil 2026, with the support of Engr. Md. Kamrul Hasan (Babu), General Secretary of ESF, and Engr. Abdul Kader, Organizing Secretary. The successful completion of the event reflects the strong unity and engagement among TECN alumni, and the Ex-Students Forum (ESF) expressed its commitment to organizing more impactful initiatives in the future.
