Eurofins Assurance Bangladesh organised a high-profile seminar in Narayanganj Chasara, bringing together industry professionals to discuss evolving standards in social compliance, assurance services, and modern testing solutions. A total of 80 representatives from various companies—including HR, Administration, and Compliance departments participated in the event.

The seminar began with a warm welcome speech by Rashed Ahmed, Managing Director for Bangladesh & Pakistan, Eurofins Assurance, who highlighted the organisation’s global expertise and commitment to advancing sustainable and responsible business practices. He emphasised Eurofins Assurance’s expanding role in Bangladesh and noted that the company now employs 250 professionals across the country, contributing to global operations consisting of 6,5000 employees worldwide.

Mr. Ahmed elaborated on the importance of assurance services in today’s competitive industry landscape, stressing the need for accuracy, transparency, and accountability. He also discussed how Eurofins Assurance supports businesses in meeting international standards through its comprehensive auditing and certification services.

Following the welcome address, Riad Chowdhury, National Sales Manager of Eurofins Assurance, delivered the introduction speech. He shared an overview of Eurofins’ mission, service areas, and its role in enhancing compliance culture within the manufacturing and corporate sectors of Bangladesh.
In the seminar, the main discussion point was Social Compliance, which was successfully delivered by Abdullah Muktadir, Audit Manager at Eurofins Assurance. They also covered Sustainability services, including GOTS, TE, and BCI, presented with great insight by Safaat Mansur, Supervisor, Eurofins Assurance Bangladesh Ltd.
The technical session continued with presentations focusing on Social Compliance, including key frameworks, global buyer expectations, and improvement strategies for factories.
The seminar concluded with an interactive Q&A session, where attendees exchanged views on current compliance challenges and future opportunities for industry transformation. Their informative sessions sparked valuable conversations and a deeper understanding among all participants.
