Eurofins Consumer Product Testing Bangladesh Ltd., part of Eurofins Scientific, a global leader in laboratory testing services, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Bangladesh Garment Buying House Association (BGBA) on 20th Dec 2025. The agreement aims to support BGBA member organizations by providing laboratory testing services offering value added services, with reduced turnaround times focusing on Sustainability and Innovation.
This collaboration is designed to help BGBA members improve cost efficiency, accelerate time to market, and ensure sustainability, product compliance with international buyer requirements and applicable regulatory standards, leveraging Eurofins’ globally recognized testing expertise and extensive laboratory network.
The MoU was signed by BGBA President Mohammad Pabel on behalf of the association and by Dr. Karthik N.D., Regional Managing Director, representing Eurofins Consumer Product Testing Bangladesh Ltd, in the presence of Executive Committee Members, General Members, Dipok Chondra Ghosh, Managing Director, Eurofins CPT Bangladesh; Md. Mainul Hasan, Director – Sales & Business Development, Eurofins CPT Bangladesh and other distinguished guests. Under this agreement, Eurofins Consumer Product Testing Bangladesh Ltd will provide fast, reliable, and accurate product testing services to the esteemed members of BGBA at an affordable cost.

Commenting on the agreement, Dr. Karthik ND, Regional Managing Director – South Asia, Eurofins Consumer Product Testing, stated: “This MoU reinforces Eurofins’ commitment to supporting the Bangladesh ready-made garment ecosystem. The Bangladesh Garment Buying House Association (BGBA) is a self-regulating, nationwide intermediary organization representing the Bangladesh Readymade Garment (RMG) sector. The Association is officially approved by the Department of Trade Organizations (DTO) under the Ministry of Commerce, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, and has been assessed as Grade “A” by the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI). BGBA plays a key role in supporting the RMG industry through advocacy, member services, and initiatives that facilitate international trade development and efficient order fulfillment.
