Evince Group emerged victorious in the BGMEA Cup 2023, securing a 3-1 victory against Mosharraf Apparels Ltd in the final match.
The thrilling competition took place at the Bangladesh Army Stadium in Dhaka on December 1.
Faruque Hassan, President of Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA), presented the champion trophy to the winning team in a ceremony. BGMEA Vice President Shahidullah Azim, Vice President (Finance) Khandoker Rafiqul Islam, former Vice President Moshiul Azam Shajal, Director Md. Imranur Rahman and Director of Giant Group Sharmeen Hassan Tithi were also present at the award ceremony.
Salauddin of Evince Group was awarded the Man of the Final, showcasing exceptional skills and contributing significantly to his team’s success. Atique Shahriar Raihan of the winning team was named the Most Valuable Player for his outstanding performance.
Md. Imranur Rahman of Bando Design Ltd was awarded as the Best Playmaker of the tournament while Rahbar of the same team received as the Top Scorer award.
The football tournament, being organized by BGMEA since 2016, brought together 16 teams divided into four groups for this year’s edition. The group matches were played at the Uttara Sector 4 Kallyan Samiti ground in Dhaka.
