Urmi Group recently hosted an impactful session titled “Exploring Sustainability, Innovation, and Excellence in Textiles” at its sister concern, Fakhruddin Textile Mills Ltd. The event welcomed a distinguished delegation from Hof University, including Prof. Dr. Michael Rauch, Andreas Friedrich, Dr. Alexander Schmalz from the Institute for Materials Science, and Md. Sakib Al Montasir representing GIZ.
This session provided an excellent opportunity for Urmi Group to showcase its sustainable practices and discuss advancing sustainability in the textile sector. Key contributors included Md. Sadequr Rahman (COO, Textile), Bimal Silva (COO, Seamless), Md. Ruhul Quddus (CTO, Dyeing), A.H.M. Aminur Rashid (CQO), ABM Faqrul Alam (Sustainability Lead), Abul Kalam (DGM, Compliance), and Md. Abdul Quddus (DGM, Production) shared their expertise during this collaborative effort.
