One of the largest sustainable garments manufacturing unit Fakir Fashion ltd celebrated “World Water Day – on 22nd March 2021 at factory premises.
‘Water is going to be a key factor in near future, we all need to take ample measures to ensure best uses in all walks of life’ Said, Maher Abdullah, CEO & Head of Business Fakir Fashion Ltd.
He also said, our ‘Rain Water Harvesting plant’ alone serves equal to domestic use of a village of 10,000 people in a year. We use rain water directly to Dyeing bath which is fully untreated water. All low liquor ratio dyeing machines saves water.
We had reduced or Saving 50% of water in daily use. All rest other factories need a collaborative action plan to save water and start responsible discharge, reuse etc. added, Mr. Maher
