A farewell program was held on Tuesday, October 07, 2025, at iART, Narayanganj under the BKMEA-SICIP Skill Development Program. This event was organized to acknowledge, motivate and guide the trainees of four training courses at iART, Narayanganj.

The courses, titled Apparel Merchandising, Advanced Garments Production and Lean Management, Social and Environmental Compliance for RMG and Production Planning and Supply Chain Management are being conducted by iART, Narayanganj.
Mr. Fazlee Shamim Ehsan, Executive President of BKMEA and Advisor of the BKMEA-SICIP Program, graced this event with his presence as the Chief Guest. The presence of BKMEA Vice President Mohammad Rashed and Director Minhazul Hoque as Special Guests enriched this ceremony.
In his inspiring speech, the Executive President emphasized the role of skill development in fostering a sustainable and competitive workforce within the RMG sector. He highlighted that the SICIP program is designed to cultivate skilled, climate-resilient, and future-ready professionals to meet the evolving demands of the industry. He also mentioned this initiative not only enhances technical competencies but also strengthens employability, fostering meaningful career progression among young participants.
The Advisor of BKMEA-SICIP appreciated the trainees for their dedication and commitment during the training period. He also mentioned the growing global demand for skilled workers and encouraged the trainees to continue improving their competencies.
The trainees, representing the four courses, expressed their gratitude through speeches, extending heartfelt thanks to BKMEA and the Ministry of Finance, Government of Bangladesh for organizing this valuable training program.
