Fareast International University recently organized a seminar on “Waste Water Treatment in Textile Industries” in university seminar room. Prof. Dr. Nazmul Karim Chowdhury, Vice Chancellor, Fareast International University inaugurated the seminar. Engr. Md. Aminul Islam, President, Association of Textile Engineers & Technologists (ATET) was preset as chief guest. Dr. Muhammad Ali, Registrar, Fareast International University; Zulker Niem, Managing Director, Total Water Solution; Riad Mahmud ,Business Partner, Total Water Solution; M A Islam Riyadh, Editor, Textile Focus were present as distinguished guests. The seminar was chaired by Lefayet Sultan Lipol, Assistant Professor & Head, Textile Engineering Department, Fareast International University. Prof. Dr. Nazmul Karim Chowdhury said, “Seminar helps to get updated information and developments of specific topics. He requested textile engineering department to organize such knowledge sharing seminar for the betterment of the students”. Mr. Zulker Niem and Mr. Riad Mahmud had a presentation on “Waste Water Treatment in Textile Industries”. The presentation session was very interactive and the students actively participated in Q&A session. Dr. Muhammad Ali thanked them for nice presentation. Engr. Md. Aminul Islam said, “ It’s very important to organize seminars in different topics for the students. There are a lot of technical developments are happening around the world. The students can get the updated information by seminar”. M A Islam Riyadh mentioned Textile Focus is working as development partner of the industry and in future Textile Focus will organize some seminars in different campuses.
