Five New Factories Achieve LEED Certification in Bangladesh

Bangladesh continues to strengthen its position as a global leader in sustainable garment manufacturing with five new factories earning LEED certification, bringing the national total to 268 certified factories. Among them, 114 are Platinum and 135 are Gold certified, while 68 of the world’s top 100 highest-rated LEED-certified factories are proudly based in Bangladesh.

The newly certified factories are:

  1. Pakiza Knit Composite Limited – Dhaka
    • Certification: Platinum (87 Points)
    • Rating System: LEED O+M: Existing Buildings v4.1
  2. Fashion Pulse Limited – Dhaka
    • Certification: Platinum (87 Points)
    • Rating System: LEED BD+C: New Construction v4
  3. GAVA Private Limited – Dhaka
    • Certification: Platinum (87 Points)
    • Rating System: LEED BD+C: New Construction v4
  4. Visual Knitwears Ltd – Chattogram
    • Certification: Gold (76 Points)
    • Rating System: LEED O+M: Existing Buildings v4.1
  5. Talisman Performance Ltd – Chattogram
    • Certification: Gold (62 Points)
    • Rating System: LEED BD+C: New Construction v4

This latest achievement reflects Bangladesh’s ongoing commitment to sustainability and environmentally responsible manufacturing practices, reinforcing its reputation as the world’s leading hub for green garment production.
